Sonoma County Farm Bureau is hosting an in-person continuing education workshop for Pesticide Applicators and the agriculture community. The course content will include the employment of Barn Owls for natural rodent control, beneficial insects and the establishment of hedgerows, pest identification, and integrated pest management using cover crops. The presentation will also cover pesticide use and field worker safety inspection violations, handler training requirements, and school site regulations.
Licensed pesticide applicators will have the opportunity to receive Continuing Education credits (four hours requested from DPR). To receive credit, please bring applicator license number to workshop.
