Train to avoid potential injury, fatality and financial liability
Fieldworkers, Supervisors, Employers: Learn how to prevent a serious liability event working near PG&E infrastructure. Digging, driving, working and operating equipment around overhead electrical lines and underground gas transmission pipelines requires special training. PG&E’s 11,000-volt Electric Demonstration Safety Board will illustrate the hazards of an actual electrical event and workers will be instructed what to do around downed power lines. Underground damage prevention processes will be addressed, the economic impact to employers when damage has occurred, and how local communities are affected.
